(hereinafter referred to as “BLANDO”)

These General Terms and Conditions regulate the business relationship between BLANDO (seller) and its customers (buyers). Customers within the meaning of these terms are both consumers and entrepreneurs.

  1. Validity of the General Terms and Conditions
    1.1. These terms apply to all deliveries of goods and services from BLANDO. They become part of every contract that a customer concludes with BLANDO. Differing purchasing terms from customers are not binding, even if not expressly objected to.
    1.2.
    Any deviations require written agreement.
  2. Purchase of Goods, Contract Conclusion, Withdrawal
    2.1. A binding contract is concluded as soon as the customer receives an order confirmation, or a mutual declaration of intent is made on site.
    2.2. Cancellation is generally not possible. If the customer terminates the contract unilaterally, BLANDO is entitled to charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the purchase price.
    2.3. For goods with a delivery period, at least 30% of the price must be paid as a deposit.
    2.4. If the customer does not pay the deposit within 14 days, BLANDO may withdraw and charge a cancellation fee of 30%.
    2.5. BLANDO may withdraw if: the customer delays acceptance, the customer’s financial situation changes materially, or delivery becomes impossible without BLANDO’s fault.
    2.6. In the event of withdrawal, both parties must reverse the transaction.
  3. Delivery Conditions and Place of Performance
    Goods may be collected from BLANDO or delivered to the customer's address. Goods must be collected within 14 days once the customer is notified they have arrived. Delivery costs are not included in the purchase price. Delivery is curbside. For disposal service, old furniture must be placed at the curb.
  4. Delivery Times
    Delivery times are those indicated in product descriptions. Delivery time starts after deposit payment and communication of product details. Delivery is made directly by BLANDO. Delivery time is extended if product details are changed later, external obstacles occur, or the customer fails to comply with obligations. After a further 6-week grace period, the customer may withdraw.
  5. Delay in Acceptance
    If goods are not collected within 14 days, storage fees of €10/day apply. If delivery fails due to the customer, storage and re-delivery costs apply.
  6. Costs and Fees
    All costs shown in the offer are paid by the customer.
  7. Prices, Payment & Vouchers
    All prices are stated in EUR or CHF incl. VAT. 30% deposit must be paid within 14 days. The balance is due upon pickup or delivery. No delivery on account. Payment obligations remain even if delivery is delayed. If payment is at risk, BLANDO may withhold goods. Offsetting claims against BLANDO is not permitted. Vouchers are personal, non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and not combinable.
  8. Retention of Title
    Goods remain the property of BLANDO until fully paid.
  9. Transfer of Risk
    Risk transfers when goods are dispatched. For unique goods: risk transfers upon contract conclusion.
  10. Product Characteristics
    Goods correspond to product descriptions. Minor deviations (color, texture, tolerances) are not grounds for complaints. Screws and dowels are included. The customer must ensure goods fit into their premises.
  11. Inspection & Complaints
    Goods must be inspected within 5 days. Complaints must be submitted within 10 days with photos or documentation.
    Otherwise, goods are deemed accepted.
  12. Warranty
    Original packaging must be kept. Warranty period: 24 months. No warranty for cosmetic issues or minor defects. Warranty void if product is altered, wrongly assembled, or third-party parts used. BLANDO decides whether to repair, replace or reduce (default: repair). Replacement delivery goes to the original delivery address. If parts are unavailable, new delivery time applies (min. 10 weeks).
    Showroom goods are sold "as seen" — no warranty.
  13. Limitation of Liability
    BLANDO excludes liability for indirect damages, delays or consequential losses where legally permitted.
  14. Copyright
    All content is owned by BLANDO. Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
  15. Data Protection
    BLANDO complies with GDPR. No data is shared without legal basis.
  16. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
    Switzerland substantive law applies. CISG does not apply. Place of jurisdiction: Zürich, Switzerland.
  17. Severability Clause
    If any clause is invalid, the remainder stays in force.
    Invalid clauses are replaced by the closest legal equivalent.
